Five Ways Electric Vehicles Will Change The World

Switch Lab Partners

As this growing market goes from a trend to a fact of life, it’s important that our kids begin to learn solar technology and learn to trust it. We who have always lived with oil dependency have to prepare them for a future where oil is a minor concern.

It’s odd how a large portion of the population still looks upon electric vehicles as a fad, or a cute distraction from oil. Without a doubt, it is the future of our automotive industry.

America missed the chance to embrace it in full back in 2008 during the economic collapse, but the rising gas prices coming out of the pandemic have illustrated the need for a cheaper source of energy. With some car manufacturers switching to only electric this year, there’s no denying that our industry is about to change forever. Here are five ways that electrical vehicles will change the world:

A much more competitive market. Electricity is less expensive and can be produced at home. Competition and effort in electricity brings the price DOWN, not up.

Endless supply. Electricity is replenishable. Solar technology, Wind technology, Wave technology have been around for a long time. We have the means to power our cars now– and we’re on the brink of developing the kind of batteries that will make it easy and accessible.

The shape of cars themselves may shift. Tractor-trailer trucks and construction vehicles may start to change their shapes as more and more of these vehicles become electric. Car frames may begin to become lighter and safer during impacts.

The air we breathe may improve. Cleaner air means a better quality of life. Might save us. We’ve already reached the extinction limit with carbon dioxide output, and the polar caps are melting, but who knows what a paradigm shift can do until we try?

Electric vehicles might be the return of the American Dream.  Ending our reliance on fossil fuels and moving to an energy source consumers can self-produce will mean one less thing keeping Americans in a cycle of debt. It’s not hyperbole to say that it may change the infrastructure of American business. It will certainly create many more new jobs and new career options than will be lost to fossil fuels.
